Hills Elementary School holding dress sale - WTOV Steubenville

Hills Elementary School is hoping to help you say yes to the dress this weekend.

The school is organizing a semi-formal and prom dress sales event for residents to check out an array of gently used apparel.

More than two dozen vendors are expected to showcase dresses.

All the sale proceeds are theirs to keep.

Organizers say the event is a way to clean out your closet and provide more chances for beautiful items to be worn.

“A lot of parents have dresses hanging in their closets, we don't know what to do with them, we put them online, give them a chance to come in, they can try them on here, we'll have dressing rooms,” said Robin Laughery, Hills Elementary School secretary.

“We have 26 vendors. They'll have more than one dress, you can shop for shoes, jewelry, dresses.”

The event takes place Saturday.

If you're interested in setting up a table to sell dresses, it's $10 for a spot, and you'll need to get to Hills Elementary at 9:30.

Shopping will take place from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Hills Elementary School.
