Shopping for gifts? You can buy these worn-looking designer shoes for $1,645 - Progress Index

Look at these. Look at these shoes.

While $1600 is quite the price for these, I have to admit, mass producing them is probably not that easy.https://t.co/97D13fIu8rpic.twitter.com/RbSKGEOD3P

For $1,645, they can be yours. Hang on, did you get that? They cost one THOUSAND, six HUNDRED and forty-five DOLLARS.

These Maison Margiela Fusion sneakers are listed on Nordstrom’s website, and believe it or not, they’re almost sold out. I guess everyone has people they really hate on their Christmas list, because I wouldn't give these to my worst enemy. Imagine opening a gift from a loved one on Christmas morning and THIS atrocity is what's inside.

The listing on the website says the “eye-catching Italian sneaker offers an edgy twist on a classic look” with “style pieced together from an array of options” and it’s not...wrong? They’re eye-catching, they’re edgy and, boy oh boy, are they pieced together from an array of options.

The reviews of the shoes are pure gold. One says "What is this ? Can someone explain what's going on ?" and another says, "The ONLY thing this shoe is missing is some squished dog poop in the tread. Other than that, they are perfection."

These shoes do not look like they belong on your feet. As one reviewer wrote, "These look like some Pre owned sketchers that someone used for a triathlon and didn’t want them anymore. I think these are the same pair that Forest Gump used to run around the world. I think my dad has these shoes in his closet from when he was in high school."

These shoes look like a pair of sneakers I tried to make my college boyfriend throw out because anytime we were in the same room as them, the whole room reeked.

These shoes look like my little brother left them on the living room floor and the dog chewed them up.

These shoes look like some drunk kid at a party in my hometown tried to jump over the fire pit and didn’t quite make it.

These shoes look like you should spray them with some of that magic onion juice Stanley Yelnats made serious coin off of in “Holes.”

These shoes look like the only reason you could still say “What are thoooooooose?”

These shoes are literally only $5 cheaper than my rent on a two-bedroom house. But if this is something you want to spend your money on, please tell me why in the comments.
